Transforming Financial Education: A Case Study on Implementing a Cutting-Edge LMS Solution for Fintech

Introduction

TriByte, a leading Learning Management System (LMS) provider, helped a fintech education client in India by designing a custom LMS that seamlessly integrated with their existing website, to offer webinars as courses. After the integration of TriByte with the client portal, the results were remarkable. The client was able to offer their webinars as courses to their audience through a user-friendly and intuitive platform designed by TriByte.

The platform’s ability to support both B2B and B2C models was also a significant advantage for the client. The client was able to create a custom B2B platform for their corporate clients, providing them with a  bespoke experience. TriByte’s solution allowed our client’s B2B customers to use the LMS as their own, branded platform, with customised features, that further helped in expanding their B2B clientele.

About the Client

Specialising in providing education and career-building services in the financial services domain, they offer practical online courses that help students acquire the necessary skills to pursue a successful career in finance. Their programs evaluate candidates’ strengths and weaknesses and help them hone their strengths while eliminating their weaknesses. While the client Initially offered webinars on their website without any LMS integration, they realised the need for a more robust and integrated platform as they expanded their business model to include both B2B and B2C customers.

Challenges

Prior to the implementation of Tribyte’s LMS solution, the client’s customers were unable to purchase the webinars on their website due to the lack of an LMS integration. The ability to register for and purchase each webinar was done manually by providing a link to the interested students/customers via email which was proving to be a cumbersome process. The client, while revamping their existing website, wanted to integrate an LMS that would host all the webinar courses and provide seamless integration between the website, payment gateway, and LMS. They were also keen on making sure the new platform could support both, their B2C and B2B business models.

Solutions

To address all their requirements TriByte designed a custom LMS that allowed them to scale new heights and enhance their business. Some of the key solutions provided by TriByte LMS are as follows:

  • Hosting of pre-recorded and live webinars: The LMS itself hosted pre-recorded webinars as videos and upcoming webinars that were live webinars were also supported within the LMS platform.
  • Integration with Payment Gateways: Payment gateways were integrated with the LMS to allow users to buy courses seamlessly.
  • White Labelled platform: TriByte LMS is a white-labeled platform, which meant that the client’s portal was branded according to their needs, and the B2B portals were also white labeled.
  • Seamless Integration: The website of the client acts as a window, and the backend functionality is taken care of by TriByte LMS.
  • Discount Coupons: TriByte LMS offers discount coupons, making it easier to run offers and campaigns and sell more courses.
  • Referral Codes: Students can refer other students, which adds up to their loyalty program, where they could avail of discounts.
  • Range of Courses: TriByte LMS provided the flexibility to offer different types of courses, and delivery was made possible based on the student’s requirements.
  • Testing Engine: The LMS has a testing engine that helps students to check their knowledge and track their progress.
  • B2B Business Model: TriByte developed a B2B platform for the client, which could be accessed via a company login. Employees of the company could log in and take the courses subscribed to by their companies. The platform was white-labelled so that they could use it as their platform.
  • Admin Portal: TriByte LMS provided a robust admin portal with centralised control. The learner portal could be a B2B or B2C, but the admin portal was centralised and provided great control.
